| Hi, I'm very new to underwater photography and looking for some advice (some of my photos can be seen at http://www.craigcampbell.co.uk - any constructive critisism very welcome). So far I have been taking pictures on auto mode but have to butcher the images on photoshop to remove green tint. My camera, unlike some others I have seen, does not have an underwater mode. Although the waterproof case is an original fuji case made specifically for the camera there is no instructions or hints on how to take underwater photos in either manual. Any advice on white balance, ISO settings etc. much appreciated. CraigDiver |

I bought a drysuit second hand, black body with dayglo orange upper and arms. It was too big for me but got me through training. When I finished training I purchased a made to measure suit in exactly the same colours (so wife would not notice bought new suit!). I quite like being visible in it. Kind Regards CraigDiver |

| filters will make a massive difference... I think your pictures are really good though... but my recommendation is filters... my pics can be seen here: Travel Dive - Image Gallery - The Prices Gallery which was my second attempt ever with olympus... no strobe (nasty bank manager will not let me have one...:-() with a blue water filter... (got one for uk water too) Berit

| Me too I have the F420 with the Fuji case and have struggled to take anything I would show anybody. Main problem has been amount of light. There is a dinky Fuji strobe to go with the case @ £140. I'm going to give that a go first then start to play with settings. |

I cannot see how you could possibly attach a filter to the front of the lens and would that not reduce the light even further? Do you know what Fuji call the strobe? CraigDiver |

| On the subject of filters, you can see the results of a new green water filter that's in development on Digigreen.net When they are available you will be able to buy a larger filter, cut it to size and stick it inside your housing. Perfect.
