inon d-180

there is an inon d-180 on ebay at the moment, is it any good or are there any better deals to be had out there?

Be good if it did go for the £1 its up for at the moment.

I suggest that you've managed to ensure that it goes for about £50 more than it would have though by telling everyone on here - I'd got it on my watch list already!!

From what I can gather - Inon strobes are nice, compact and reliable. The later versions have TTL adjustments for all compacts - this one will not have that though

surely you are not so niave to assume that the majority of people who are looking for a strobe won't be looking on ebay already? but i take your point, the problem being that i don't want to commit my money to a pile of trash.

I have used a D-180 with an Oly 5050 for some time and have been very happy with it. The flash is compact, sturdy and easy to maintain.
Not very powerful, so not too effective for distance shots but great for close stuff.

i have found that web site in the mean time. the epoque that cameras underwater have on sale looks a pretty good buy, it does depend how much the inon goes for on ebay though.
