Thanks for the recommendations. I actually ordered the Powershot A640 a few weeks ago, but there's a problem with supply from Canon at the moment, and it's still on back order.

I'm starting to panic a little as I'm going on holiday a week on Sunday with the intention of diving with sharks. So I'm going to have to look for an alternative. I'll look into these two cameras and see how they compare.
