| I sent my US bought one directly to Oly, it's buttons on the back had stopped clicking as firmly as they used to. They turned it round really quickly and honored the warranty even though the camera was bought abroad. r Paul |

| there's a shop in Manchester City Centre called London Camera Exchange, they seem pretty knowledgeable, although it's hard to get folk to work on digital camera's as they are supposedly uneconomic to repair/get spares for (a good excuse to sell yo another one methinks...) - they are on Picc Square by the bus stops Turbie's idea sounds pretty good, if the warranty still stands then phone them in the first instance |

| Video conversion sw Hi Helen, can't help with the camera problem I'm afraid but for video conversion I use a program called SUPER which is free to download and use. " Supported input source file formats are: - Video format: 3gp/3g2(Nokia,Siemens,Sony,Ericsson) asf, avi (DivX,H263,H263+,H264,XviD,MPEG4,MSmpeg4 etc..), dat, fli, flc, flv (used in Flash), mkv, mpg (Mpeg I,Mpeg II), mov(H263,H263+,H264,MPEG4 etc..), mp4(H263,H263+,H264,MPEG4), ogg, qt, rm, ram, rmvb, str (Play Station), swf (Flash), ts (HDTV), viv, vob, wmv"I presume Before trying to convert though, have you tried VLC Media Player ? Another free to download and use multi format media player. I find that it will play the majority of videos. HTH Paul
