Nice one Kirky, never thought about scanning the photo's, then touching them up.  My MX5 will not take an external strobe, so my buddy has a new job.

Hey guys - interesting to read the suggestions about avoiding backscatter.  Some of our Red Sea photos had backscatter too, but I will take on board the tips for our next venture to the Philippines at new year (hooray!!):)

However, regarding the photos posted from the Red Sea - credit for, I believe two of them, go to the Milkybarkid and his buddy Judy.  I am fairly certain my MX5, even with the strobe, wouldn't light up that well on a night dive (see lion and puffer fish).  In fact so impressed was I with their UK D8 I went out and bought one myself!

Looks like Gav has himself a new duty on our next night dive - lighting technician (torch holder) for moi!

Fi
