Hi,

I've borrowed my mate's Nikonos V for my trip to Oz and have a couple of questions.

It's on sale or return, seems to be in good nick having lived in the attic for years.  How much should I pay for the following items:

Nikonos V body, 35mm lens.
Close up kit.
SB-102 strobe
Subawinder 3 15mm lens (cheap version of the Nikonos 15mm lens)

Does anyone have any tips about using this camera?

I have a couple of shots in the gallery if anyone is interested.  First time out, MX10 & strobe in Sharm.  Got a nice one of the Titan Trigger that was attacking me ;-)

Have a friend who has a Nkonos v, and Nikon strobe.
For a long time and probably still is the Camera others are measured by.
The results from the kit are excellent, and knock the spots of the digital stuff. Like anything it takes some getting used to. Different types of film available, but still a lot prefer slide films with the slower speeds, good definition and depth of colour.
Have a look at the link below as they have specialised in Nikinos stuff for years
