| If you're serious about getting rid of shutter lag then you'll have to look at a DSLR which is frighteningly expensive for the camera and even more for the housing. Underwater I use one of a Sea & Sea Aquapix (cool, nice colour balance but slooooow) and an Olypus like yours (ordinary, not such nice colours and slightly faster). On land I use a Nikon D70s which is fast and great. I got used to shutter lag as I can't afford a housing for the Nikon. Hope that helps Alistair |

| I have the same setup as you and have been pretty pleased with the results. But I hate the shutter delay and when I get a really nice image I wish it was on a better camera! I have been considering upgrading as well but I fear that unless you go DSLR you will not get rid of the shutter lag and will always wish the images were slightly better quality. The cost is not so much the camera but all the rest - housing, strobes, arms etc. I am hoping that they will eventually bring out a compact with almost no shutter lag and high quality images, then I will upgrade. PS I have the INON fisheye lens for the mju which is great and as it is a wet lens can be changed during dives. You can zoom in a little with it so you can get a pleasing "macro / wide angle" shot as I find macro with the mju doesn't work very well. I look forward to every one elses replies!
