<font color='#000080'>I've got a Hewlett Packard Photosmart 850. I've been doing some digging but can't find any hard housings for it - I presume because its not from a mainstream camera manufacturer.

It's a good camera and I've not had it too long, so wouldn't want to change it so soon purely for want of being able to take it underwater.

If anyone else knows of a housing for it I'd love to hear from you. Otherwise, is it possible to get a custom housing made, and where?

I've seen a 'one button' generic housing advertised, though it might not be suitable for your camera (esp. as access to controls obviously is limited to the shutter) -

failing that there's the plastic-bag type:

But you probably already knew all that

Cheers,
Tom

The &quot;plasic bag thingies&quot; are only OK for very shallow depths. Deeper than a few metres the button jams because of the pressure.

you may find that its cheaper to buy a camera and housing, rather than think about a custom one, i do not think any type of custom housing would be cheap, even if you could find one.
