high street price match on internet camera sales...

...are no more, at least where Jessops is concerned.
They won't even match there own internet prices. A lens at £470 on their site was up for £650 in the shop today.

From looking around, warehouseexpress.com have the best deals on camera gear. Hope their service is as good as their prices.

Hi,

I've ordered quite alot of camera gear from warehouse express over the past year and can highly recommend them. Alan James, who owns sea and sea camera sop in Bristol also speaks highly of them. As much as I would like to suuport high street shops, the price difference is ofton hundreds of pounds......
Cheers
Chris

Best prices I've found so far (whilst researching my dream purchase of a digital SLR) is A J Purdy & Co Ltd - Imaging Division

Not sure what their customer service is like at the moment but I have the added reassurance of them coincidently being based in my home town and open to the public to I can go and discuss things with them

EDIT : Correct web address now! Sorry!

Try Ebay

Just bought a Sigma 10-20 4-5.6 for £280 which was shipped from Dubai in 3 days whereas the UK price was inexcess of £370! Nice lens it is too, just fit nicely with the Aquatica Housing for my S2

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Hi
Warehouse Express have excellent service, fast, efficient and their prices are very competitive, I have used them several times and they have always been great. A.J. Purdy also have an excellent reputation though I have not used them personally. Speedgraphic are another good company, though probably more for studio type equipment than cameras.

Best wishes
John
