Furnace Quarry, B200

Furnace Quarry.
The wreck of a small fishing boat (the B200) lies below the pier at Furnace Quarry.
Lying on her port side in around 45 meters of water, covered in silt & shroud in darkness.
A personal challenge I set myself today was to shoot video on it.
Unfortunately, the silt, darkness, motor skills at depth, boisterous silica-gel & a hole in the 3rd finger of my left glove all took their toll.
First to say the video turned out to be rather lame & if I could think of any other excuses for this I would have listed them beside the others.
However, that said, you welcome to take a look anyway.

Dive no deeper than your qualification depth.

Liked the surface stuff especially the bottom up view of the rather small stride entry.

Keep it up :-)

TBH given the conditions and all the excuses - I thought it was ok?....

Do you mind me asking what sort or video rig and lighting you use?...

Also the surface stuff was nice - looks like quite a scenic area...I am a Southerner, not use to hills and mountains!

Cheers

Roy

thanks to Fran for being the 'stunt diver' & jumping from the pier.
looking back, i used a 50 WATT GREENFORCE video light.
my buddy sported a 100 watt HID greenforce acting as light watchman, coupled together even these did not account to enough for this depth/darkness, 45m+.
perhaps 2 x 100 watt greebnorce HID's would be great, but 2K+ is more than i'm prepared to pay for a small hoby.
not long, i hope until im back out on the Clyde where i will shoot more video to bore you all with.

Where he was jumping from the pier in the few seconds before you could see the water, i thought he was on a roof lol.
