| Back to the original question (if it's still relevant) I bought a Sea and Sea YS27 strobe for my digi compact. It's was fairly expensive (£309 with tray, arm, connector etc) but will upgrage to a Digi SLR slave strobe when necessary. The results compared to my old fuji flash were amazing (check out the colours in my Maldives thread, very little if any photoshop done)
