    Exclamation SeaLife DC600

    Hi All,

Anyone have any experience with this camera?

The info. I have seems ok, but I was looking at an Fuji F10 or F11 but as my budget is fixed, I thought the SeaLife DC600 would be the cheaper alternative

    Any suggestions or other recommedations

    Thanx in advance

    Aaran

I'm rather fond of my Fuji F30. I'm not very good with it yet, but I'm sure I'll get there. Leaving it at home when a pod of dolphons follows you at the Farnes is not good for starters

I got a good deal from Newcastle Dive Centre.

What dolphins? Helen, it's rather selfish to keep things like this to yourself. Why didn't you tell us?

I have a Fuji f11 that I'm still getting to grips with but I gather the next model up has a dedicated underwater setting?

The F30 does have an underwater setting. I believe Jane (triplefin) has this model too and her photos are fab. She will know more than me about how you're actually supposed to use it

Sorry Helen I dont have this. I've got the Oly 5050. Helen P bought an F30 last year tho and some of her pics from a blue water trip are in the gallery i believe and on a thread somewhere. There was also a thread on digigreen about it.

sea life cameras are so so, I worked in a shop we sold the sea life type and most people would be wanting a upgrade sooner rather than later and basically stuck with the camera in the housing.
Far better getting a better camera from a well know maker with housing and upgrade the camera every so often most like sony tend to keep the camera body and buttons in the same place whilst upgrading the camera MP ect then the housing is usable with a better camera.
    smit happens
