some nice pics, no backscatter well done as you have probably found out uk photography is a whole different ball game to blue water stuff

the pinky colours on the last sea star are really super and the anenome is lovely
keep getting as close as you can to the subject, eliminating the amount of water between the lens and subject, basically just keep taking lots and lots of pics and practise

So not only do i not get out diving tihs weekend due to working till stupid o clock, you have to go and post photos of what i've missed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good photos mate, thats the same digi cam and housing i've got and for a reasonably priced point and press it does give some cracking good photos. Gimp is another free to use photo editing thing that you can play about with.

Well done on the camera skills, Davie, there are some good shots here. Will definitely be back sometime later this year, the diving is fantastic.

Cheers for the great feedback and little info pointers.

Tell you what trying to fully frame a subject when you've got to get buoyancy, shutter lag, darkness and lots of bloody water in the way is just a bit damn tricky!

Ive got a flickr account so will upload the full resolution pictures to it, I just wanted to quickly put something up for folk to look at.

I must admit I took nearly one hundred pictures and got these plus another three or four that are usable and thats only If I am not fussy about getting the complete subject in.

Lots of back scatter, lots of out of focus and lots of darkness.
