Nice pics!
I have lost count how many times I have dived Loch Long and have only seen one Dog fish![]()

I dived Loch Long years ago to supposedly see a rare (ish) white anemone, and we did see it. Couldn't say exactly where it was, but I remember getting tangled up in loads of fishing line on exit, which was not nice!
We saw some nice little dogfish up in Mull last weekend.
Bu the way, what camera are you using as I'm thinking of getting an underwater one to record what I see?

I am using a Sony dsc-p200 with an ikelite housing, the Camera does 7.2 Mega pixel (effective), its one Ive had for a couple of years and the kids have the same model, personally if I was buying a new camera for UW use and a housing it wouldn't by the Sony.
It does not do RAW and its got real bad shutter lag. The ikelite housing is a work of art and would highly recommend them for camera housings.
If your looking to buy a new set-up for UW use then a few models have been recommended on these forums, good luck with it.
I'm averaging about a 20-1 throw away to keep ratio. Backscatter, lighting, white balance, buoyancy and getting the bloody subjects to stay in the one place while I frame them are all making UW digital photography a challenge.

That is not too bad... I am much higher than that but I am very very selective with the pictures.. out of about 300-400 I end up keeping about 40 if I am having a good day.. as I go through them I sift out more and more and more ending up with just a few from each site...
dahhh boring old me...

I've already got a good little camera that I've had for about 4/5 years, Pentax Optio 330, nice and compact. I've found somewhere where I can get a housing for it for about £100 second hand. So, rather than shed out £300 plus on a new kit, I thought of the housing option first, this way I can see what results I get.![]()
It's all a balancing game really and of course spec against cost etc.

The Blog to go with the Photos
Over at the deep stop
I've also cropped the sea snail picture to see if it make it look any better, I haven't applied any colour correction to any of the images and to be honest I am not sure how to, I only have paint.net as a image tool.
