Hi Dave

I had what the insurance company called "unexplained flooding" with my Oly housing for my 5050. The camera was written off.

I'd strongly recommend you get the Ikelite housing. I've since got an Ikelite housing for my Sony camera and have dived with it with no problems. Its bulkier but does its job well.

I will know in a few days whether my 5050 is beyond economical repair (I dropped it down the stairs) If it is not fixable I will have a 5050 housing for sale.

II have a spare o ring some grease and it is fitted with a heinrich wellkamp TTL IR adaptor which allows use of an external strobe (I have a DS50) without the flash sensor.

PS the camera was NOT in the housing when I dropped it!
