I have ordered my camera!!!

I am soooo excited I have ordered my camera !!!

In the end I went for the Fuji f31fd and housing . The web SAYS it was in stock so hopefully I may get it in the next day or so but I am sure when I phoned them they said it was on order!! I have also ordered a book from WH Smith and that should take about a week so I am just twiddling my thumbs now wanting to play with my new toy.

All I have to do now is to try to take photos without my thumb being in the way and save up all my pennies to buy a strobe.

You won't be disappointed - it's an excellent camera! When you do get it, take some time to learn how to use manual white balance - in my honest opinion, this is probably *the* most important feature of a digital compact that you need to master in order to take stunning photos...

Oh, and you'll be wanting to buy an Inon fish eye lens next...

I do like the Fuji's, good choice. Manual white balance and a fish eye lensare good for ambient light shallow/bright dives. The existing strobe should be good enough for macro shots.

It all depends on what you want to take pictures of.
