Don't shoot me down - but is that a Manta? From the pics it looks more like a mobula ray - mouth is on the bottom and it doesn't have the classic scoops - unless they're rolled up... Hard to tell from photo's...

We only have the pics to go on, but comparing pics of the two side by side, I think you may be right. The Mobula Ray (Devil Ray) doesn't have scoops, but stiffer protursions. I doubt they can be 'rolled up'. Still fairly uncommon, though, and a protectred species.

Nicky dived all week and then on the day she does boat cover we all seen the Manta Ray at Yellow Mountain. You poor things!

There's a lot of them about.
If you go diving you see them quite often.

Total pain when you're trying to photograph the wreck and they get in the way.
