| I see from that pic that it has bits of skin or whatever hanging off its jaw/mouth, bit like a woebegone shark and the shape is not in fact disimilar just that they dont have those wing bits, come from a totally different part of the world tho. |

| just dug out this pic of a juvenile woebegone I took - east coast of oz - lots of frilly bits , doesnt show the shape or pattern of the body much in this one but they are so very similar to the angel shark must be cousins ![]() I was so excited when I saw this shark just laying on the top of the rock and it was only when I got these pictures up on the computer much later that I noticed the 6ft adult laying underneath the ledge....probably Mum! and I had been kneeling mere inches away for some shots! |
