We stayed just up the road in the Kalamari (sp?) hotel. Lorry ride to the sites including Shagra. The guides who were living in the tents were complaining of the cold. It was very windy but still very warm out of the wind. Didn't do the viz close in any favours though. The sand was well stirred up and it was a good 200m fin to get through it to some water clarity. But all in all a good week was had.

Although I am a primarily a wreckie-photographer, I do have an interest in turtle photos, they are quite cool animals.

Really nice shots. I think the colour balance could be adjusted in some of them to make them even better. Hope you don't mind as I had a little play with this nice photo.

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

I know where you saw those turtles! I got back on 7th November and wiped my XD card which had photos of them mating. Glad you had a good time, it was still hot when we were there, I think the weather turned after that.
