I haven't seen the video but if there are captive dolphins then I am not interested.

However I was surprised that no one picked up on the fact that a new member attached links to their website on the first 2 of their posts, something which isn't normally allowed which is why members have to have 50 posts to get the signature facility.

On the subject of captive dolphins I was also surprised the other day when lots of people posted positively with Matt the Aquaman's post on Dolphin therapy.

1. The show with the dophins was held by the american guide.
2. The first words of the briefing were: IF YOU SEE DOLPHINS IN THE SEA - FIN AWAY!!!!

With what dogs are worse than dolphins??? We are all hold at home our pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, horser etc.) Are you vegetarains??? All of you??? Don't you eat fish???? Don't you ride poor horses???

We didn't really trained them, we have just watched its skills. We learned a lot about the dolphins and we have respected them before, we respect them now 100 times more.

Dogs, cats, hamsters etc are domestic animals - well they certainly are in this country they are bred in captivity, they are not wild animals.

So did you let them go after you had 'respected' them?

That would be my age bracket then Richard and I didn't even know dolphin shows existed until places like Sea World became well know. I don't like places like Sea World or that god awful place Dolphinella in Sharm which Marine Connection campaigned extensively to press for the release of the Beluga whales.

The Atlanta Aquarium keeps Whale sharks and having seen these massive fish, how anyone can put them in a pool is beyond my comprehension, no wonder they keep dying.

Seems the Atlanta Aquarium have lost yet another mammal, 25 year old Marina.

Another beluga whale, Gasper, was euthanized on 2 January after a long battle with bone disease and a weakened immune system. Two whale sharks died in June and in January due to a chemical used to treat their exhibit.

So that's OK then.

Did you visit the link??? I didn't say that dolphins is the treasure!!! In the end of the page is the video from Oman with shools of fish and Turtles. That is the TREASURE of wild life. I didn't see such a beautiful place, especially in Egypt.

There are very, very few excuses for keeping marine mammals in captivity, and even less for keeping them as a commerical venture, dressed up as sham education.

If your knowledge and respect for dolphins was increased 100 times from seeing them behave unaturally, in a cruel and unusual environment then just think what you could learn from a decent book or documentary. You don't have to encourage the trade in these creatures by paying to see them locked up.
