| Don't even think twice about it, Kirstie - get yourself an Inon UFL165AD fish eye lens and get snapping! I've got one on my Canon IXUS 75 setup and it's probably the most useful peice of photographic kit I've bought for a very, very long time! I absolutely love it and get fantastic results out of it. What makes it so amazing is that it allows even a complete doofus to take fantastic photos - if I can do it, anyone can! Get one - you'll thank me when you do!

ATM the Inon is the proverbial *&%$ ?&##&_!$ as far as these puppies are concerned so, unfortunately, it's a matter of paying up or shutting up.

| Hi Kirstie I've just bought the Inon UFL 165 fisheye,mountbase/adaptor & Inon Gripbase 2 from Germany using these guys: UW-Fotopartner.de The whole lot inc shipping came to £306 and the owner, Stefan is extremely efficient. I know a few people here have bought from Japan, but I didn't want to risk possible issues with import duties/VAT etc. Also I think there may be warranty issues with Inon kit bought in Japan and UK/Euro dealers will not repair it, so you will have to ship it back to Japan. Having said that the prices from Japan are very good, so I guess that's the risk you take. Cheers Marc |

In answer to your earlier question, the UFL isn't really suitable for 'macro' stuff but then the Fuji does a pretty good job of that without the need for an extra lens. If you do want to get in very, very close though, Inon also make a 'UCL' (close up) lens which will do what you need.
