Cant remember if it was £80 or £90 but i get staff discount to so it will go down to £70 or £80 cheapest on line price i've seen is £107. Not looked properly at housing prices but should be able to get bot for around £200. But i am finding it hard to convince myself that its worth a new compact setup when i am saving for a dslr housing.

Ive got a F40fd, used it a couple of times both in the water and on land.
I think it is good for a compact camera, Nice size, easy to use in automatic scene mode.

But I'm assuming you are a keen photographer if you are looking at DSLR housings - one thing I do find frustating is the lack of manual overides ie Av or Tv Priority. There have been one or two occations where I have thought that I could have taken a better photo with manual settings like I used to have on my old Canon S1.

This is only a slight drawback and I would not give up the camera. its a nice size and I think well laid out, good battery life and I have definately enjoy using it. On land there have been a number of occations where I have sliped the camera in my pocket when I woud have left a bigger one at home.

p.s. I havent setup an online photo account, but if you want a couple of photos e-mailing pm me

Thanks Horndog, I will stick with my canon then and keep the cash for my housing.
