Question Books

My mum has changed my camera so that it is a decent one for diving purposes and my housing has been ordered. Now need a reccomendation for a book. was thinking of 'Essential Guide to Digital Underwater Photography'.

Is this actually any good, or does anyone have any better suggestions.

Got the F40fd btw.

Cheers

This was the first book I bought and was a good starting point (I've got the first edition). If you already know the basics then it might be a bit basic, but if you don't it's ideal. Martin Edge's book is the best on the market, but it assumes basic knowledge and moves on from there - so if you don't know the basics this might be too much.

If you search on the web there are loads of good websites. Cameras Underwaters .info website has loads of useful articles. This one is quite good Index to Underwater Photography - it is slightly out of date in places, but at the end of the day there isn't a massive difference between digital and film, so the theories haven't changed.

HTH,
Rob

If that's the book by Aw then it's good, clear and logical and easy steps, great to get you started. I bought it for Phil for Christmas
The MArtin Edge one is then good to move on to
