Not sad when you consider how entertained a metre of bungee keeps me

Kirsten,

Depending on the size of your new wide angle lens you may find that your onboard flash with diffuser may not reach the bottom of your piccies again?

Amazing innit - all the way from Japan in a week or less, and I got a lens from Russia in the same sort of time! And the savings! Even if you have to pay duty you'll be in front.

Anyway, have fun, and don't let the fact that you will, next week, want, nay, NEEEED another item of shiny photographic equipment temper the enthusiasm one little bit...

Finless... you are right. if I have the wide angle lens on my camera, the built in flash is worse than useless because the lens obstructs the flash, so an external strobe is essential.

More shopping, Kirstie

The adaptor has a diffuser on it to push the flash further forward, but I've got a Fuji external strobe arm in any case.

Thank you!

I can't really take credit, though. Turbs bought it two years ago at a dive show 'cos it was cheap.

What I would like is some kind of neoprene bag to transport my new lens in. Anyone know of such an item?

I don't want a pelicase as they're too heavy and expensive.
