You will notice how the twin pick-ups of the Fuji sensor cope with the subtle highlights in the flesh tones and chrome whilst retaining the detail in the black rubber. The Fuji is a 6mp camera that provides a 12mp RAW file because it has twice the number of sensors - woofers and tweeters if you like. Now I suoppose I'll get grief from certain quarters for the suicide clip attached to the pressure gauge.

Appears to be the same body as the D40 so any D40 housing should fit. You will have to wait untill it hits the streets to be sure though.

You always get whingers - my advice is to ignore the knockers.

Looks like a D40x with a VR lens to me. And just added the auto dust sensor cleaning to battle with Cannon 400d in the spec dept.

I was sorta expecting the camera to use a CMOS sensor like the D300 and the D3 but they're obviously holding that back for the D90... plus the fact that they're probably still too expensive to incorporate into a camera at this price level. Shame because CMOS sensors don't 'white out' quite as badly as CCD sensors

BTW - Got this link from Nikon yesterday...

Nikon - D60

Have to say the 16-85mm lens looks nice too!

Can anyone tell me if the D200 or the D300 have a video function as well? Also, how long will the battery last when fully charged?

Digital Camera Reviews and News: Digital Photography Review: Forums, Glossary, FAQ should provide this info pretty quickly. (Oh - SLRs don't "do" video - or I can't think of any that do...)

If the D80 is anything to go by the battery lasts for AGES!!!! Longer than the memory card lasts for me.

Thanks, I'm only asking because I read that there is no movie function, but there is a video output and also video cable provided. Does this sound like a contradiction to you? I'm a little confused.

Yes, I've since read that it can last up to 1000 shots.
