| Given that recent versions of Photoshop support RAW files directly, you need to tell us which version of Photoshop you have.

| Hi The version of Photoshop i'm using is 7.0. Thanks Hughesy |

| G9 raw files can only be opened by the latest version of Camera Raw (v 4.3). To use v 4.3 you need PS CS3 or the latest version of PS Elements, so you'll have to upgrade from PS7, or buy Elements just for the Camera Raw. Otherwise use the software that came with the camera and export in a loss-less format such TIF and open those files in PS7. | Does this mean that i won't be able to open RAW files direct using Photoshop 7. If i was to save as a TIFF file would i still be able to change things like exposure, etc. Is Photoshop CS3 the updated version to 7.0. Thanks Hughesy |

| Unfortunately I think you might need the software. I was using a Fuji S2Pro with Photoshop CS but when I swapped to Nikon D200 I had to upgrade to CS2. Then I changed to an Intel Mac and had to update again to CS3. It is undeniably a fabulous tool but very expensive and you have to authenticate on-line. No doubt a pirate out there will tell you otherwise!
