Fuji strobe.
Hi Mark, I dont know what kind of photography your going to do but fuji's own strobe works very well with the f31 i have. Unfortunately it isnt all singing and dancing and only has low medium or full power options. But at the prie you can get it for, i suppos you cant grumble to much. Ive had mine over year now and its still going strong. Hope this helps some.

I can't comment on the F40, but I have used the Sea and Sea YS25 auto with the F30 which was OK, now use the Inon z240 and it is fantastic.... pm me if you want some sample images!
