Lessee now: 1) Minimum requirement of 60 metres perfect viz - every time. Caves anyone but where other than Cocklebiddy CDAA - The Nullarbor - What it Takes will you find a 60m straight line and perfect viz? Ummmm, Cocklebiddy is not exactly easy to get to, not least here in Oz. 2) Ask someone really expert, like subtronic, to make the appropriate strobes. Can you imagine the size and cost? 3) Because of all that weight you need as positively buoyant a housing as you can get. That'd be Ikelite then even if they don't make the best. SeaCam will be seriously peeved but they "only" do alloy. 4) Neutralise the weight of the lens, forget about the camera, immaterial in the scheme of things. That's going to be an awful lot of high-density (non-compressible) foam floats. Think streamlining, even line of sight. 5) Ensure that there is a crane, oh, and a DPV with suitable mountings. Make sure it's perfectly balanced. 6) TTL is imperative, it'll take quite some time for those strobes to light up the subject at that distance. Actually that's speculation on my part, I think I'm right but I have no proof. What have I missed?
