| Hi everyone, Ta for looking at the pics and the favourable comments. I took loads of photo's on the trip, did 15 dives in total. Only on 4 of the dives did I get to 30 metres the rest of the time I was <20 metres. I chose to do this type of diving this trip particularly so I could fiddle with the camera. I used the underwater setting, macro and internal flash. Most of the pics on Flickr I would suggest are <10 metres in depth and tended to be at the end of the dive. I had been recommended the Martin Edge book on Underwater Photography and picked up the most worthwhile tip of pointing the camera upwards and trying to take the photo with the light coming from over your shoulder. Sometimes there was just me and the guide at the end of the dive so it made it easier not to have to be looking for the whereabouts of a buddy or worry about holding up the group. Didn't get around to using custom white balance but I fancy trying out magic filters next time to get better results from the video clips. Hope it helps. Lyv |

| Thanks guys, don't think I'm up to the Yd photo comp though. The ones I've looked at are way outside my league. More practice needed but the Martin Edge book is excellent. Ciao Lyv |
