Sharm Trip 2008 Hi everyone, I've just returned from two glorious weeks diving in Sharm. I managed 15 out of the 16 dives that I had booked (one I couldn't equalise so had to abandon) and have one or two photo's on Flickr if anyone wants a look. I have the Fuji F30 and most of the pictures are untouched, I just use the internal flash and don't have a strobe. I kept to a maximum depth of 20 metres so as to optimise the chances of success with the lighting angle. I previously read a book by Martin Edge on Underwater Photography that was recommended to me off Yorkshire Divers Forum. I have installed the wonderful piclens program curtesy of Copperband which works wonderfully. Hope you enjoy. cheers Lyv Flickr: Photos from mandl1

BZ Very nice pictures. One question did you use the underwater mode setting or play with white balance?

Ohhhhhh. I'm blushing now. Thanks a lot guys. Next time I'm going to try out using the magic filters so that the bits of video I've taken look better. When I've stitched the best bits together with Moviemaker I'll upload to Youtube and post a link. Cheers Lyv

Yes, I agree very nice pics. Are they all with the on board flash or are some with a magic filter? I use the F11 which is the F30s' forerunner, but I use an Inon stobe and many of my pics aren't as good as these. perhaps I wasted my money. No. probabley my eye isn't as good as yours! Nice one Jacko.
