Now I've worked out how to post photos you can see!

Ok, diving was limited because the sea was like this:

But, we still managed to do 9 dives, including the wreck of HMS Sirius which sank in 1810. Vis was only 3m, but I've managed to clean up this photo to show a cannon:

Some nice macro life, and as you can see, it was somewhat like UK waters as the sea was green!

The diving in the Blue Bay Marine park was all shallow, but the coral formations were fantastic. Not as colourfull as the red sea as the algae living in the coral in this part of the Indian Ocean tends to just be brown.

What a good do. Winning a camera! I particularly like the nudibranch ones and the "elephants ear" if that's what they are called.

Did you use wide angle at all and if so, what settings did you use? Internal or external flash?

Thanks for posting

Cheers

I used the underwater setting on the camera 'cos I haven't learned how to do the white ballance thing yet! As for the flash, I just used the internal flash for the macro shots.
Here are a few more pics.

This is bubble coral- never seen it before coming here

And this is what the vis was like on the wreck on the first dive on it. 2days later it was worse than this. Who said warm water diving is all 30m plus vis??

Thanks for comments.

Peter
