Hi,

Seen that already thanks. Have the book, and will be interested, however it's a bit late in the year to get the most out of it.

Just to note i'm awaiting an email reply from you about seasearch...

Daniel.

one to one with me.

I'm a full time dive pro - enjoy taking pics, always ready to pass on skills.

Most divers have seen or even have images taken by me.... they can be found at most UK inland dive sites, in magizines, in training publications. I get everywhere!

She would like it to be basic, based on compact digital, the post that sums up the problem is this one:

Most PADI instructors will teach it, but I would like one who practices it. She has used our Fuji F10 for a couple of years now, and really just wants some instruction on 'moving off the Auto feature' really (already using manual white balance of course!).

EMUP --> I'll look into this.
Cornwall --> Is a long way, we drive it every year, we'll be there for a week in August, so if nothing sorted by then ...

Daniel
I also use a Fuji F10, and I've signed up with Maria Munn in Oxford on July 5....so see you there maybe?

Talking I'm Qualified as well

I'm qualified PADI U/Water Photography Instructor as well, but am based in Barnsley so maybe a bit of a trek from Lincoln, but the invitation is there for you.

Mark

I use the F10 and more recently the F50, I have taken in excess of 12,000 photo's underwater with the F10 and around 1,000 with the F50 so far. Some of the F10 shots have appeared in local newspapers and some in Sport Diver magazine.

As you say, if your not sorted by August I'm sure we can arrange something. Even if you are sorted, maybe just join us for a dive or two.

I can also recommend Maria Munn at Ocean Visions - the course is totally designed for people with compact digital camera and she is an excellent, passionate teacher.

She runs her courses in Oxford or at London's LSD dive centre in Chiswick.

I have also done Martin Edge's course, which is absolutely fantastic, but probably best for those with SLRs to make the most out of the course.

Okeanos,

Thanks for the offer, may well take you up on the offer of a dive or two in August.

Daniel.

If you've got a digi camera, why not just go diving and experiment.
PADI may well have trademarked "Shoot, Examine, Adjust" but its what digi photographers have been doing since the things were invented.
You can see instantly how varying aparture etc affect the shot.
you may well get shots that you're happy with without spending £100
