| Which Camera? Hi, Sorry if this as been spoke about before. Before I start me and my partner are visiting egypt in may and will be going diving a couple of times and we are wanting a camera for underwater pictures. I have done a search around and it looks like the Fuji F30 is the best camera for all round use and underwater however im no an expert so perhaps you guys could point me in the right direction if there is a better camera out there at around the same price. Also where is a really good place to buy underwater cameras from. Many thanks in advance. Jonny |

| Hi Jonny, I've heard lots of great things about the F30 and F31. Especially good for low light. I'm not sure how easy they are to get hold of these days though as they're a pretty old model. :-/ If you can find them then grab them. One place to look for underwater cameras is Cameras Underwater Homepage: Underwater housings, digital stills and video cameras, accessories. Gates, Ikelite, Epoque, SLR, DSLR, Sealife, Sea&Sea.

| IMO, a compact's a compact's a compact. Not dissing the Fuji's, people love 'em, just saying I've an old Oly C5000 I wouldn't swap for anything on the market today and my sister has an old Canon that turns out superb pics. Buy one, any one, it'll do t'job. Second vote for Cameras Underwater from me. Alan James seem to be nice people as well. Oh, and if you want some more detailed musings, take a look at my website, there's lots of basic photo advice on there. |

| Definately the Fuji F31fd. As others have said, it's quite an old model now but there still isn't another compact digicam that can touch it for underwater photography. If it weren't for the fact that it uses xD memory cards, I would have bought one in a flash as a 'backup'... Buy in confidence - the Fuji F31fd is a superb camera!

| Canon G9 does RAW though which is an absolute godsend underwater.
