I've already got the DSLR, in fact it's the same one as yours. But then that's not the expensive bit, it's the housing, strobes and ports.

I guess you can get great shots from a compact or bridge type camera, just a DSLR has the edge in terms of quality. And that 'edge' can get quite expensive

I agree Rob. I had some really good pictures with my Oly 5050 with no strobe. The best thing you can do is learn the basics of photography using a manual camera playing with ISO, aperture and shutter speed to get the best results.

Experimentation is the best way to explore, even if that means seeing what you camera can do in the lounge outside the housing!

Have fun guys!! Oh, UW photography is an addictive expensive hobby btw!!

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.

Having just spend £2200 on a second-hand set-up. Anyone want to buy a ring for around £1500 including 2 bodies

Is that a wedding ring? If so then I'm guessing the bodies are yours and whoever buys it!
