| Single Cable or Dual Cable Hi, I'm looking to get my Canon 40d kitted out for underwater use and although I'm only planning to get one strobe I was wondering if I should get a dual strobe cable or 2 single cables, this would be in terms of a back up cable. Can you use a dual cable with a single strobe or do you actually need two strobes. This would be Ikelite cable for Inon strobe. Thanks John. |

| John, The ikelite dual cord comes with plastic caps that go over the connectors. Ikelite don't suggest using these underwater, so you have to attach both ends to something like a strobe. Get a single cord and if you get a second strobe then get a dual one. There are three extra failure points in the dual cord compared with the single. Rob
