I think the camera is OK it's certainly as good as the Oly but put it in the housing and you can't see the screen. What good is a digital camera when you can't see whats on the screen? The only time when you can make out what's on the screen is either when your indoors or below 15m and the suns in. No use to any...........sorry my language is about go bad, cant talk anymore... too upset.

stupid question but have you adjusted the brightness of the Screen via the menu options? I have used mine in the dark depths of Vobster and the NDAC and in bright sunlight and haven't experienced the problems you have. with the screen Try giving Heather a ring at Alan James photography in luvverly Bristol, I purchased mine from there and the backup has been superb with any idiotic questions I have asked her answered simplisticly and fully. It was a painful learning curve as I said earlier but the pictures are now good. I also looked on the web and other users have taken some great shots with it. I acknowledge its not a straight forward point and shoot and until you go fully manual with it you are not getting the best out of it.

I assume you have both the external and internal hoods attached to the housing?

Yeah done all that, the screen goes even darker when you switch to manual.
Alan James are no longer doing sea & sea, I got the camera from them too. It does work when conditions are dark but this is no good if you want to take images in natural light.
