| an hour dive time is the norm regardless of temp...no way would i travel 5 hours for 4 30 min dives and to those that call us puddle divers..over the last 5 years most of my dives have been in salt......i just smile when people call us puddle divers and think under my breath W***ers. wish i had st abbs 30 mins away, as it is stoney is 30 mins away.....some of us cant help where we live !!! annenomes yeah there my north sea clams rob !!!!

| If you can get hold of photoshop then you can clone out a lot of the backscatter, takes a little time but well worth it..... good shots, i bet the Lumpsucker was at the Ebb carrs

| lump sucker was on the skeligs if i remember right, rob cuss will correct me if im wrong though ! but yeah great spot by me...rob was pissing about looking at summat else....i was shouting through my reg like crazy ....and thankfully it was worth the spot !!!!

| Don't want to steal Mark's thunder, but here are my efforts: ![]() Following things I've heard in talks by Alex Mustard and Martin Edge I did some experimentation with off camera flash. I still had them on the sync cord, so things aren't totally backlit, but still got some good effects. These are probably the best 2. Will try this some more with proper off camera flash when I go back to St Abbs in June: ![]() There are more at Cussy/2008/04_St_Abbs - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting (including lots of photos of Mark) Rob PS the watermarking program seems to have darkened the images and increased the contrast
