Hi there,
A fantastic strobe which will give complete lighting coverage when taking photos with your Inon Fisheye Lens is Inon's D2000s strobe. You can mount this strobe on a special arm and tray which Cameras Underwater have. It really will give phenomenal colours to your photographs as long as you remember to get close, (but not touching the coral). I've got some photos on my website at Underwater Photography Courses - Tailor Made by Ocean Visions | Underwater Prints - Canvas Art, Greeting Cards for sale if you fancy a look at the capabilities.
Happy shooting and best of luck.

Excellent!
Thank you for your advice Maria I will look into that.
To be honest I think that there are many strobes that will fit the bill. A good initial resource is digideep <http://www.digideep.com/english> and the strobes I would look at for a P&S camera are as follows (alpha order):
Epoque
Ikelite
INON (the caps are how INON likes it)
Sea & Sea
SUNPAK
The others on that site are possibly too sophisticated, leave alone expensive, for a P&S but do remember that you can take a strobe with you if you upgrade, not so a camera or housing so getting the best you can afford is likely to save you money in the long term.
You might also want to read this before making up your mind <http://www.yorkshire-divers.com/forums/underwater-video-photography/75681-first-dive-strobe-2.html#post987408>.

If you want the INON strobe buy from here, I did
UWdigitalcamera.com
Excellent service, competitive price, including import duty and delivery. It only took 5 days to come from japan using fedex.
I have used this company again for lens and arms etc.
Hi again,
I still use the Epoque 230 DS Strobe which is a fabulous strobe for the INON Wide Angle Lens, however, for the wide angle of view of the Fisheye Lens and for compactability and ease of use, it really is hard to beat the INON Strobe. I have seen many strobes used with point and shoot cameras on my courses and have tried them myself over the past 8 years of using point and shoots.
Have a great time and look forward to seeing the photos.

Cool, thank you all for your advice.![]()
