Repeat after me: "I'm a tool tool, tool tool tool"
Its 100m rated and the scuba version costs $168. With the Pro being a HD camera if its low cost (IE below the £1000 for the alternative V Cam) its got some market share.
The lights may look silly but that dosent matter to me so long as they work.

Screw the force Luke, use the VR3
If you were going to base your decision on looking like a nob then you could well miss out on many good ideas and good buys...
As for the practicalities, I guess it depends what you need the cam for.
A hands free device to record what you see, maybe..
A tool to build and edit good quality clips,; I think it would be very difficult to hold good shots.
The whole thing looks cumbersome and awkward.
But like I said, depends what the need is.
The side lights are on movable hinges so you could have them in closer to the side of your face (slighty less Nob looking?), for that price it would be interesting to see what the footage would be like, wouldnt be practical for all diving environments.
