Blimey you won't beleve it but that Pigeon landed at the Hoverport in Calais at about 1800 (i can remember the time as we were handing over shifts) and had a rest in our car control booth.

One of the guys took its picture with his phone, i will try and get a copy tomorrow as proof. I would add that this knackered pigeon was the highlight of the days work unfortunatly.

LOCATION was
2 miles North East of the South Goodwin Lightship.

The bird was onboard for about 45 minutes, he toook on water and scotch brooth before 15 knots of boat speed , get him airbourne.

We did try ringing the owner , from the number on the ring's of it's legs, but NO JOY .


HOWEVER, this is a first for me , pulling a bird on a day where we had , SUN ,RAIN and HAIL, Thunder and lightning
