O3 is the manufacturer.

I've never heard anything bad about O3 suits, and the few people I know that have them say they are excellent. But as I understand it, they are a little more expensive.

I'm still an Otter fan.

Hi Kyrre,

Try contacting Andy2tanx. I think he was working at Divers Warehouse/Otter the last time I spoke to him. Hi might be able to set you up with something?

O'Three

Hi Kyrre

Try here - http://www.othree.co.uk/index2.html

From memory, there's no complaints from users of the above that I've heard of.
They are expensive (and no I don't have one for that very reason!) but apparently one of, if not the best.

Thanks for the input guys. Seems pricewise that Otter has the upper hand here. But surely there must be other, cheaper, off the peg brands in the UK? I'm a fairly standard Large albeit with a tad smaller than standard feet, ie European 43/Size 9.
Anyway, I appreciate your effort.

Kyrre

I suspect that our experience of them is not normal but it took Gates 9 months to make a MTM suit for my girlfriend. Each time they produced a suit to completely the wrong measurements and then had the temerity to blame it on the measurements given being wrong. Each time we supplied them with exactly the same set of measurments but they managed to produce 3 different shaped suits.

Their customer service left a whole lot to be desired. An extremely rude woman on the other end of the phone blamed us and the dive shop we ordered the suit through. Personally I'd not buy a gates suit but other people may have had better experiences.

If it's a trilam you're after,...

...I can highly recommend the Oceanic Flexia: strong, comfortable, good range of off the peg sizes, good service. Plenty of stockists in London, South, South West, including Mike's, who'll give you a good deal during the diveshow. (Don't be put off by the price shown on Mike's website.)

Thanks Che as well. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it for the diveshow so I'll either have to go through the web or a regular store. The Mike's stores seems like a good option, although their prices on the web on a quick glance aren't whooo hooo and yippetyyay. Guess it's different once you're there, cash in hand...

O3 are really good, Otter are almost as good but cheaper. I've got an Otter which I'm happy with but when it goes to the kit bag in the sky (or ebay anyway) it will be a choice between the two, probably if I stick with membrane I will go Otter and if I decide to go compressed neo then O3.

Service on both is fantasic
