They're a PITA - I'd seriously recommend following the above advice and gluing some on instead.

back to dry suit pockets..
I just got two put on mine at Divers warehouse. They fitted them for free and even gave me a discount on the pockets. £40 for two, bargain!
The very nice chap there who does the suit repairs, whose name escapes me now, was in the middle of explaining to us how to put the DIY pockets on and then decided to fit them for free. I must have looked like I was going to make a pigs ear of it!
It did sound like the sort of thing you could easily mess up so if you get the chance to have them fitted then go for it.
