| Imported post After a season of using a clip on thigh pocket to store my reel, Dsmbi and back-up blob, I have decided to have a couple of thigh pockets permanently fitted to my drysuit (Oceanic Aedura) in order to allow me to kart more things around underwater and generally make my life easier. So, I'm wondering if anyone can give me any recommendations as to what type to go for? Anyone had some fitted with have subsequently turned out to be rubbish? or there any who's praises you want sing from the rooftops! Ta all Andy B

| Imported post My advice andy would to be to get in touch with Brett at divers warehouse and ask him how much for two, membrane pockets, fitted and cash and carry. I put one on my bratanic suit because it only came with one, they are very easy to glue on, but if you dont want to get dirty, i would say they would only be £20-30 each fitted. Regards Simon |

| Imported post Just got 2 cargo pockets fitted to my Otter skin, one thing is though I asked for them to be placed on the side of the thigh, however it looks like they've put them on just off set from the front of the thigh.... Hmm I thought, until I realised that this isn't actually a bad position at all, if you use any side slings (which I don't yet) Cost for these was £63 (which included fitting and some inlet valve glueing aswell) So basically I'm pretty happen with the service (24hr job as well!). Thanks again DWH

| <font color='#0000FF'>To follow on from some recent posts about adding pockets, drain holes and eyelets etc, heres some pics of the modifications I've made today after recieving my new eyelet kit from shipsides marine. A whopping investment of £4.55. You can get your very own by calling 01772797079 or going here: http://www.stuff4sailors.com/index3.php3 Now I just need to thread some bungy thru the side eyelets and we have an emergency pocket, a la GI3: http://www.wkpp.org/articles/Gear/eq...reimages_2.htm but better No chance of holes ripping/enlarging etc. Stu.

| OK, having bought a drysuit without pockets, does anyone know were I can buy / get my hands on some strap on pockets for all of my nice shinny bits of kit that wont fit in my BCD pockets? Bonus Question... Should you Choose to accept it... The latex neck seal of said drysuit has a habit of rolling down during a dive. Is this normal or can I put a stop to it? |

| There are quite a few different ones around, OMS and Aquatec are two (This is the Aquatec offering http://www.aquatec.co.uk/pages/carrying/toolpouch.html) The best solution in all honesty is to get some aftermarket pockets glued on to your drysuit. (On the side of the thigh area works well - especially for rib diving). Otter or O3 or numerous other manufacturers supply and fit pockets. HTH Daz

| As already mentioned, Otter do it. Depending on where you are in the country, you could also try Divers Warehouse in Leeds/Bradford area, or Hydrotech at Stoney Stanton. (I had pockets fitted from Hydrotech, and they were about £25 each, complete with D rings fitted inside.) Regarding your neck seal, if you turn the lip inside towards your neck, it will stop rolling, and also "give" with your neck if you look up. Well, it works for me, anyhow... Hope this helps. Steve
