| I know its not what you want to hear, but I use both. Weezle compact undersuit over the top of a fourth element exotherm. Works a treat, and in the warmer months you can lose the exotherm and just go with the weezle. |

| when u get to use thicker undersuits do they restrict movement in any way or are they all pretty similar in thickness <<<<< sorry if that sounds daft

| I use a weasel compact in the winter under a 4mm noeprene. tthis is too warm in the summer and I have 4th element two piece. Weasels do compress well and there's no feeling of restricted movement.I would expect you to feel even less restricted in a membrane due to the nature of the suit. |

| ive just had a look at my local dive shop and they do sell weezles so i m gunna have a look on tuesday to see what they are like??? so would you choose a 200 gram or a 300 gram

| 200 gram Flectalon undersuit by Northern Diver all year round for me with a t-shirt and a pair of boxers under it in the summer and a thermal t-shirt and fleecy jogging shorts as well as the summer bits in the winter. HTH Noel. <added>Cordura membrane suit<added>

| so would you choose a 200 gram or a 300 gram This is difficult for someone else to call as :- "yesterday was my first post dci dive and i was bloody freezin ?? " But how cold is that? If pushed I would (and this is only my opinion) go for the 300gram in a membrane. but perhaps a fellow membrane wearers view would be more apropriate. |

| 9 degrees at stoney kev yesterday i was either cold or becoming nesh ??or both lol!!!! seem to be getting colder around the chest area more than anywhere else as well

| Have dived with a 100gm Thinsulate since the beginning (with membrane suit) - very nice and warm. Did dive with a ND Flectalon, and didnt think a whole load of it (swapped it for a pony in the end). I would recommend a set of thermals to go underneath. Anywhere cheap will do, you dont need to spend a fortune. Make sure they are not too tight though, as they will ruck up around your knees and elbows and make it sore to bend them. Also Reed Chillcheater do a nice balaclava thing which you could easily wear under your neoprene hood. You lose most heat through your head.
