I noticed that Charter Healthcare do "Female external catheters" last time I ordered some male ones. I really didn't want to investigate what they were or how they worked but it may be worth contacting them to see if you can get some free samples.... if you're brave enough!

I have the O3 unit. It's unbalanced.

Does it make a difference?
Not down to 60m. Beyond that I couldn't tell you personally.
I know people who've used them to 120m and nobody commented on problems.
I always thought fluids were incompressable although I only ever tend to 'go' on stops so it's air filled for the deep part of the dive so if it was going to squeeze I'd have thought I'd have noticed.

I always had this urge (and succumbed to it) when I wore a semi-dry, but curiously, and thankfully, it doesn't happen when I'm in my drysuit.
I think it must be the physical contact 'twixt H2O and tackle that triggers it.

ahhh probably (without the tackle issue in my case!) - guess the only way to find out is to try one eh?

I read an article a while back about a plastic funnel thing for women to use in order to piss whilst standing up (thus removing the one last thing men can do they can't). They were sold for one-time-only use in nightclubs where the queue for the bird's bog is about a week long.

I can only imagine that after about 15 Bacardi Breezers your average Sharon would emerge from the experience with a little "side spray" so to speak. I would also imagine a well trimmed Brazilian would be an advantage.

Nevertheless such a device might be employed in a more sensible pursuit (e.g. scuba). I regret I don't have the required equipment to try one, but I would have thought you could hold it in place with some form of tape.

The residual capacity though would surely be a problem (unless you could have a purge of some kind [maybe fart through it??])

Meantime you will have to settle for a proper catheter as this is what they are designed for. Might make kitting up on a crowded boat an interesting thing?

I'm off to Google for some pictures to make this a little clearer...

Chris

No - I really think this is a humourous attempt to belittle a very sensible idea. Firstly the young woman is bereft of underwear and in the Gents. Second she is clearly a little (uh humm.. ) "hirsuite" to use such kit...

I think you are taking the piss.
