All
Looking for a p-valve for my membrane suit - they are a lot more expensive than I imagined! Anyone know of the cheapest source for one?  I guess it's not something you'd buy second hand?!
Cheers
Martin

There's always the DIY option.. I got mine from Otter tho, it was cheaper than the Halcyon.

Do u want balanced or unbalanced?

Hi Dom - thanks for the prompt response.
That's where you come in - I'm guessing balanced is best, but from personal experience, what do you/everyone else recommend?
Regards
Martin

Apparently, unbalanced ones have been shown to be fine, at least according to O'Three who market one which has a quick-snap connector. When I get one I'm probably going for the O'Three because of that feature

Looks like a piece of p*** to make...

Four sizes? Can't see anyone going for Small...

So, there's a DIY challenge.  Any thoughts Dom?  The suit bit looks simple enough - must be worth £65 to do it yourself!

The real challenge will be doing one for the girls...

We all use the EE balanced one.  I've got two of these and no complaints. Don't use the cr*p catheters that come with it though.  Get the Ultraflex ones from Rochester Medical....much better.

Thanks for the replies so far - the options mentioned are still lots of money (I'm not tight, just think it's a lot of money for not a lot of dive gear!) - what's this DIY jobbie - any links?
Regards, and dive safe
Martin
