| If you want a cheaper version then I use Sub Zero thermals. A set of Factor 1's under a set of Factor 2's. They end up almost identical to the Xerotherm Arctics but not sewn together so you can wear only 1 layer when it gets warmer. Used them in Stoney on Saturday and didn't feel the cold at 5°C under an Otter bog standard Thinsulate (not even the commercial). They even do a one-piece gimp suit in a Factor 2 which would be ideal for use under a neoprene dry suit in the summer. www.subzero.co.uk

| Thanks for all the info guys, I just ordered a couple from Mark P. Hi Andy - The Arctic is supposedly one of the warmest available, I currently have the model below it and was considering trying it and the Arctic together under a membrain to see what it's like, I think just the arctic on it's own would be a lot to ask for March, but maybe some current owners can chip in more? James

| I use the Arctic, on it's own under a membrane (replaced my weezle extreme). Have used it 5 times so far in water ranging from 5deg (Stoney last weekend) to a barmy 7deg and have not felt cold once. Same can't be said for my hands though
