Pockets for a drysuit

Am after putting some pockets on my drysuit (its an oceanic aerdura) - what pockets do people recommend and where can I get some?

Also, once in position where would you put them - on front of thighs on side or in between?

Otter do a self stick kit which I have used in the past. Sticks like buggery. Make sure you clean the suit with Toluene first though.

Plus put them on the outside of your thighs or else when you haul your arse over the RIB tubes they get in the way.
Ideally get the velcro bellows pocket. They don't come with an internal D ring so tiewrap one to the inside before sticking it on.

Coughs coffee all over the screen> Why on earth would you do that?

You don't want D-Rings (metal to metal) connections on any kit. Make small bungie loops in your pockets and clip your bolt snaps to it. That way everything stays where it should and you can bring the entire contents of your pocket out with loosing a thing; unclip what you need and re-stow!

Tie-wrap a D-Ring on indeed PMSL

OK a bungee loop will work fine too- maybe a large pink ladies hair bobble if you are DIR.

Narked @ 60 do nice pockets for about £20.

I tied a bungee loop through two of the drain holes so I had something to clip on to.

OK - got a second pocket ready and waiting to stick on....

Waiting for my suit to dry actually - I've been waiting a while but it's always getting wet again, I think I dive too much (it's a hard life )

If the suit is dry when I get home tonight I'm going to have a go - I've got contact adhesive which says spread on both sides...

Any tips.... lessons to learn?
