ooh this all sounds pretty interesting. I find it really hard to find a suit to fit, being a little on the diddy side. Fell in love with the Scubapro 5mm but found it too big on the shoulders (and chest ).
I shall have to have a go with the Waterproof ones and see how they come up size wise.
Must admit, I had heard that the surfing ones, whilst lovely and flexible, are not quite as durable as those made for diving. I have seen some great looking surf wet suits though... I agree about the one you have pictured... a bit too "Batman" for me

I'm prepared to "take one for the team" and spend a week in Egypt diving to test out my 5mm (damm I'm selfless )- though I must add it's the blokes version!

Will let you know how it gets on... but am in the pool on sat with it got to try my new BCD so will take the suit in too
