| Don't know about comparison with a Weezle but Mark Powell does them and I'd say you'd struggle to find better service anywhere. Of course, I got mine off eBay for a ton but they don't come up on there very often.

| I've not used a weezle extreme so cannot compare them, but would say they are a lot less bulky. Look up Mark Powell on here, his web site in his signature has them for the best price i have seen, there is a sizing chart on there as well.

| I got a set of these from Mark recently, as Paul says you'll struggle to get them cheaper anywhere (I couldn't!). Some discussion of the system on this thread: http://s3.invisionfree.com/Ocean_Ody...?showtopic=201

| A lot, lot less bulkier than my flectalon 100 undersuit, and just as warm. Thoroughly recommended by me and I'm extremely annoyed that I bought the flectalon with the drysuit now as it's never ever going to be used again!! I do wear a subzero longjohn underneath but that is really so I can get changed in the carpark without scaring anyone with my pasty fleshy bits! It also holds a lot less air which is always good for your weight belt. They are a snug fit though, but 30 minutes at 5 degrees and still not even a touch of discomfort. But, as noted in that article above, I too find the small of my back can get a little chilly unless thoroughly tucked in and the waiststring tied tight. | If you look up my threads about shutdown procedures I mention the Weezle Extreme v Xerotherm debate.. Haven't got time to lookup link. Sorry. Gotta go.

| Hi Kirky The arctics are very warm, warmer than the xenotherm model which is like very good thermal underware. They are not as warm as the weasle extream but much thiner, you could get away with them under a membrane in the summer quite easily but would still need the undersuit in the winter. I have just got a the arctics for both myself and the wife from Mark Powel, cheapest around, and plan to use it as above. Catch you later. James

I recently bought artics and wear them under a membrane alone! Great pieces of kit. Warm enough for me. No bulky undersuit! |
